11.3. Brake overlays of back brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Examine brake overlays for existence of wear and measure their thickness by means of a ruler. If any of brake slips demands replacement, it is necessary to replace all four brake slips on both wheels together with antinoise slips.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Beat out the top fixing pin of antinoise springs.
2. Remove an antinoise spring.
3. Beat out the lower pin.
4. By means of flat-nose pliers or the special tool part brake slips a little in the parties.
5. Remove brake slips.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pistons deep into of a support.
2. Check that cuts on pistons were turned down approximately at an angle in 23 ° in a horizontal.
3. Grease the return surface of slips with high-temperature lubricant.
4. Establish into place fixing pins.
