7. System of ignition

2,0 L ENGINES

The system of ignition is integrated into a control system of operation of the engine and consists of the module of distribution of ignition and the sensor of detonation combustion of fuel.

2,5 AND 3,0 L ENGINES

On these models in system of ignition two sensors of detonation combustion of fuel for the left and right number of cylinders are used.

1. Malfunctions in system of ignition are most often caused by unreliable connection of wires or short circuits, but not failure of elements of system. 2. At failure detection first of all check connecting wires and spark plugs, a condition of the air filter and hoses. If the source of malfunction did not manage to be found, it is necessary to address experts.
