3.6.6. Pallet of a case and laying

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the lower guard of a motive compartment.
2. Merge engine oil and anew screw a drain bolt with new laying with 45 N.' effort of m.
3. Take out the index of level of oil. Unscrew a bolt (1) of a pipe of the measuring instrument of level from a cylinder head.
4. Take out a pipe upward from guides.
5. Remove the cable plug for dynamometer control of level of oil on the case pallet.
6. Unscrew engine support on the right and to the left of the holder.
7. Remove a reception pipe of the muffler.
8. Lay a cable under the engine and raise the engine by 2 cm.
9. If there is no special device for suspension, insert the corresponding cable through earrings of the engine and connect to a pipe and arrange on the corresponding goats or at fixing edges of wings.
Prevention

Do not put a pipe on wings. Slowly lift the engine, at the same time it is necessary to be sure that the cable or a hose is not stretched or is not squeezed. If necessary in advance remove system of drafts and levers of a screen wiper, the fan with the viscous coupling, and also a pipe for air pressurization.
10. Remove the holder of the pump for the amplifier on the case pallet.
11. Unscrew pallet bolts on the block of cylinders.
12. Unscrew fixing bolts (1) from the transmission from the pallet, the replaceable face head with the extender is for this purpose necessary.
13. Remove the pallet.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a carving of a bolt of the pallet of a case the rotating brush of the remains of protective lubricant.
2. Carefully remove the consolidation remains on the surface of the pallet.
3. Carefully remove the oil remains with the rag moistened in gasoline.
4. Cover with sealant, for example OPEL 15 03 166 (90 094 714), forward grooves (1 and 2), back (3 and 4), caterpillars have to be 3 mm wide and 2 mm high.
5. Evenly screw the pallet with new laying with 10 N.' effort of m. Tighten bolts not too strongly not to crush laying.
6. Connect the cable plug of dynamometer control of level of oil to the pallet.
7. Release the engine and screw engine support with 45 N.' effort of m on the right and at the left.
8. Install the fan with the viscous coupling, a pipe for air pressurization, and also system of drafts and levers for a screen wiper.
9. Establish a reception pipe of the muffler.
10. Screw the holder of the pump for the amplifier on the pallet.
11. Establish the index of level of oil with new laying.
12. Screw a bolt for a pipe of the index of level on a head of cylinders.
13. Establish the index of level.
14. Fill in oil.
15. Check after a trial trip laying of the pallet of a case and drain bolt on tightness, if necessary slightly tighten case pallet bolts.
16. Screw the lower guard of a motive compartment.
