2.1.4.3. Driving belt

Check

The driving belt needs to be examined regularly on all length and if it is worn-out or damaged, it needs to be replaced.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the 2,0 l engine check that the index of the lever of a natyazhitel (2) was located between an emphasis (1 and 3). Replace a belt if it is worn-out or the lever of a natyazhitel concerns an emphasis. 2. On the 2,5 and 3,0 l engines check that the emphasis (1) was between ledges (2) on the lever. Replace a belt if it is worn-out or the lever of a natyazhitel concerns an emphasis.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

2,0 l engine 1. Take aside a pulley of a natyazhitel, having put on a key the central bolt of a pulley, and take off a belt. Block a natyazhitel in this situation and put on a new belt. Release a natyazhitel. 2,5 and 3,0 l engines 2. Pick up an air chamber and the forward phone of system of an intake of air. 3. Take aside a pulley of a natyazhitel, having put on a key the central bolt of a pulley, and take off a belt. Put on a new belt and release a natyazhitel.
